I'm back to making craft awesomeness happen. Yay! I had a lull after the wedding then finishing up the book. But now - I've got my crafty mojo back. Bring it on!
NEW TBD LOGO & REFRESHED LOOK
The past couple of weeks I've spent revisiting my Thrifty By Design logo and website. I set up my TBD blog and website years ago and have given it minor tweeks here and there. And now was the time to give it a total overhaul. TBD has become something different from what I first envisioned and the design needed to reflect that. So I found new fonts and reworked my logo, came up with a new tagline then the look and feel of the website and blog grew from that.
The new look also required a revamp of the site architecture - I wanted to simplify my site plus make it easier for my peeps to find upcoming Crafternoons and any recent news. Once the website was done then I updated my blog and then all of my social media channels. Phew! A lot of work but so much fun! And I was able to do all of the work on my own. I'm not an uber talented designer / developer but I can hack my way through it. Just like crafting and upcycling!
The crafty book is getting printed and should be good to go soon. I'm hoping to set up a few book launch par-tees. FAB crafty times are ahead my TinyLetter peeps! Stay tuned for details about the book, launch par-tees and an interview with CBC Radio. Yup - I've already got one book promo set up with CBC Radio. Totally stoked!
